Sandra Mae Lang, age 61, of Crystal Falls Township, passed away Thursday morning, June 23, 2005 at her home.
She was born October 25, 1943 in Ely, Minnesota, daughter of the late Lauri and Eleanor (Bain) Honkala. She attended school in Crystal Falls and graduated High School there. On June 10, 1967, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Amasa, she married Ronald Lang. She attended Nursing School and was employed at Crystal Falls Hospital, Crystal Manor and later on as a Home Healthcare Aide. Through her sixty-one years, she enjoyed spending time with her family and neighbors.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Lang, Crystal Falls; two daughters, Cindy (Denny) Olson Breitung Township, Laura (Joseph) Brin, Iron Mountain; one son, Scott Lang, Crystal Falls; one sister, Ellen (Ralph) Chase, Newark, Vermont; two brothers, Charlie Honkala, White Pine,and Jack Honkala, Crystal Falls; five grandchildren, Quintin Olson, Chelsey Olson, Amanda Brin, Ethan Lang, Carly Lang.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law Al Lang.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2005, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Amasa. Rev. Fred Kinsey will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 10:00a.m. until the time of services, at the church.
