Obituary for Gerald C. "Kip" Seggelink

Gerald C. "Kip"  Seggelink
Florence-Gerald C. “Kip” Seggelink, age 76, of Florence, Wis., passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, peacefully at his home.

He was born July 3, 1941, in Green Bay, Wis., son of the late Jerry and Lillian (Hughes) Seggelink. Kip had a love of gardening, spending time with family and being outdoors.

He had a friendly, social outgoing personality and loved being around and meeting people. Kip made friends and brightened a room wherever he went. He especially loved spending time with the dogs he had throughout his life. Kip made his trade in carpentry and was known as a fine craftsman. His heart and his spirit were a true gift to this world.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Luke (Kate Janoska) Seggelink, Paul (Jane) Seggelink and Steve (Mia Snortum) Seggelink; and two grandchildren, Cole and Parker Seggelink.

In addition to his parents, Kip was preceded in death by one infant son, Mark; and one sister, Janice Brey.

A celebration of Kip’s life will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Florence County Community Center. Pastor Doug Johnson will celebrate and share memories with family and friends at this time. Food and refreshments will follow at 12:30 p.m.
